King Kanja is one of the most sought-after international recording artists in the world! Born in London to a Kenyan family and raised in the Silver Spring, Maryland area, King Kanja broke out into the music industry after a record-breaking performance on the B.E.T’s legendary, “106 and Park”! In 2017, he was nominated at the Afrimma Awards in Dallas, Texas for the “Crossing Boundaries with Music” award alongside International acts, Wale, Wizkid, and French Montana. He has performed all over the world from Glastonbury in the UK to his biggest audience to date in his native country Kenya, for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s final election rally for 100,000 people. Kanja’s success has led him to be recognized by Matthew Knowles (Beyonce and Solange’s father) and Rick Ross. He is dedicated to promoting positive mental health advocacy, especially to the youth in Africa, and is excited to implement new wellness practices to become the best artist and role model he can be.
